How many teenage girls have watched Lord of the Rings and dreamed about riding a horse like Arwen, draped in a glamorous cloak? Today my daughter got to make that dream come true. She and her friend went riding in cloaks and lived the dream . . .

First Arrival

This camellia is late to the party, yet she is the first to arrive. Around here camellias normally bloom in January. Now here it is the middle of February and we are just getting our first camellia blossom! Isn’t she lovely though?
